A. Order Cancellation. Once we receive your PDF file, either via the mail (CD/DVD) or via upload, we will check your file to make sure that you have properly submitted it and that your CD/DVD has not been damaged in the mail. Specifically, we will only check your files for image quality (300 dpi), image size (proper file dimensions for the book size) and sequentially numbered files. Once we have done the "file check", you will receive an email confirming that your file is good to go. You will receive this confirmation within 5 days of receipt of your file. Once we send you the email confirming that your file is ready to print, you can expect your book to be sent out within 10 business days. Normal delivery is via Fedex Ground (US) unless you request expedited delivery.
Orders may be cancelled prior to production, but once you have received your "file check" email, the order may not be cancelled, so please check your work carefully in advance.

B. Replacement Warranty. We are so proud of our book quality that each RealBook Scrapbooksm or any other RealBook custom book comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty. If you are not happy with the quality of your book in the first year and the problem is related to our production process, we will replace it for FREE (assuming normal use conditions.) No cash refunds or credits are given. If the error was in your original file (excluding the "file check" described in "A"), we are not responsible for the cost of the new book. We keep all books on file for one year, just in case you or someone in the family wants one, too. You can bet they will!


If requested, we will send your original disk back with your book. After one year, as long as you can provide us with your original file in the then current file format, we will make you a new book for FREE (excluding one-way shipping costs and as long as the problem is related to our production process). Just return the defective one with your file.

C. Return Authorization. The customer MUST receive a return authorization from RealBooks before returning any defective book.   Call (800) 994-6008 to receive your return authorization. Should a book require a return to RealBooks, the return postage shall be borne by the sender. RealBooks shall be responsible for the postage on the replacement book.
